6 - Beast Form Air: "Maybe It's Just Us?"

Simon-
"What beastie?"
I murmured as I looked at Ralph and most of the litheness.
"Samneric say that they saw the beastie on the mountain."
I thought that the beastie came from the water, I guess not. My thoughts on the beastie are that I don't think that there really is one, but maybe they're over reacting and just pulling our legs? I thought for a moment about how the littleun with the mulberry birthmark before had mentioned the beastie. And then I thought how just recently another littleun was whining about a beastie coming form the water... Maybe this had something to do with it? Samneric sort of had a startled look on their faces. I can't imagine what it must be like seeing the beastie face to face. I mean if there was a beastie to see. I personally think that there isn't a beastie and I really thing that the other boys are just following what people say. I certainly wouldn't follow anything that could be just a fib. I mean think about it. I just can't see a beastie on an island that no one has knowledge of. I can't even imagine a beastie existing! The boys are just going crackers. Besides, I'd would think that Ralph would be sniggering over such an incredible idea like this. But, as the leader, i would also expect him to work this whole thing out with the whole group. Just the littleuns would need talking to about the "beastie." and like I said, "Maybe it's just us?"

5 - Beast From Water: " Lets's Kill the Beastie!"

Jack-
"I say we Kill the Beastie!"
Ralph gave me the most puzzled look possible.
"Now, why would you go after something," Piggy muttered, " that would possibly Kill you?"
I despise that Piggy has to be so technical with every situation. Not only is it hard trying to hunt for food, but I believe that hunting for the Beastie would be even harder. But, I like challenges. They consume you if you try just once. Ralph assumes that I've been avoiding my "duties" at the signal fire, thing is I've been busy hunting for food so we all can eat something. I just wish that Piggy would stay out of all the situations that involve just Ralph and I. But, then again he is in everything.

4 - Painted Faces and Long Hair: "I'm The Chief"

Ralph-
Ugh! Jack needs to stop trying to take over the entire Island. He's driving me crackers! I'm the chief, I'm the chief! Well, now the littluns won't cooperate and help out and Jack just goes off and decides that Hunting is extremely important and building the huts for shelter was just too boring and insignificant. Simon and Piggy want to build the huts, but all Jack can think about is killing a pig and wanting meat so badly. I have to agree with him on the fact that we all want meat and that it may be better than building huts on the beach, but now hunting for pigs has consumed him. He takes his hunters, or what was a group of choir boys, to the forest just so as long as he could make a kill, then he would tell the boys to bring it back to the beach. Now, Jack has left again with his hunters and they have their faces painted and their hair long. They continued to chant: Kill the pig. Cut her throat. Spill her blood. Their addicted to the drug of hunting and chanting that chant. I just wish that they would end their thrill of hunting and come to their senses and try to survive.

3 - Huts on the Beach: "My Secret Place"

The boys wonder why I always leave and go up to the mountain, but I don't mind them wondering. My reason for this act is because I have a secret place that I go to for peace. when there's trouble on the island and things get hectic, I just wander up to my place where the butterflies flutter and there's no harm or any disturbance. When there is a moment that does disturb me, I simply take a stroll up to my place, relax, and enjoy the beautiful paradise. Sometimes when I'm meditating, I feel that there is some kind of creeping presence that fills the air and I can no longer keep my concentration. Right now I can feel somewhat of a cool, yet warm presence of a thing, although I doubt that it would be the Beastie. I personally don't believe in the Beastie, and yet I feel that there is a Beast lurking about the Island. Hopefully someone comes up with a solution to stop the crackers and the crazy talk of the Beastie.

*Chapter 9 Questions and Strongbody Paragraph*

1. In Simon's secret place the flies would rather have the spilled guts than Simon's bloody nose.
2. Simon decides to go to the top of the mountain where he knows the Beastie is.
3. Simon finds that there isn't a Beastie. Instead, he finds the dead Aviator on the mountain bowing with the parachute still attached and he unties the parachute as the aviator lay there "finally resting" as Simon put it.
4. Piggy suggested that they go to the party to keep an eye on things, but really Piggy just wanted some meat and Ralph agreed
5. Someone runs by with a hot chunk of meat and it burns Piggy, so everyone begins to laugh at him just like it was before.
6. He says that the conch doesn't work on that side of the island.
7. The weather was stormy, rainy, and not as beautiful as it had been before the whole fight that Jack and Ralph had.
8. Kill the Beast! Cut his throat! Spill his Blood! Do him in!
9. Simon stumbles out of the forest as the ring of boys opend up to where it looked like a horseshoe and tries to tell them the truth of the Beastie.
10.
Simon's death was an accident and the people responsible were all of the boys including Ralph and Piggy. The reason they killed him was because of Jack and the others thinking that he was the Beastie and chanting: "Kill the Beast! Cut his throat! Spill his Blood! Do him in!" As they chant that, Simon comes stumbling out of the forest trying to explain, but doesn't have enough time to say anything but," Dead man on the mountain!" Every single boy was gnawing, clawing, ripping, tearing, and scratching at Simon's body. After the frenzy, they watched as the body lie there on the beach with the spilled blood staining the sand.

8 - The Lord of the Flies: "Simon's Chat"

Simon has a chat with The Lord of the Flies which is just a Pig's head in a pike and the Lord of the Flies threatens Simon. During the chat, The Lord of the Flies says that the Beastie is just a figment of the boys' imagination and that Samneric were pulling their leg. But He warned him, that if he went to tell the others the truth about the Beastie, Simon would DIE. Of course Simon would believe that there wasn't a beastie, but he felt as if he knew that he wouldn't get hurt because The Lord of the Flies was not really alive.

7 - Shadows and Tall Trees: "What Beastie?"

Piggy-
"What? Why are you-"
Jack glared back at me.
"Oh shut up! We'll just be a minute."
I gazed at Ralph to find that he had the same look that Jack had had on his smug little face.
"Yeah, Piggy. Don't worry, there probably isn't a beastie anyways."
I thought that through for a moment.
"Yes, I s'pose so. But if there was, I wouldn't go looking for it."
Ralph shrugged and turned away leaving me and Simon behind on account of my assmar. After my recent assmar attack, I don't think that they would risk taking me along. According to Jack, I would slow them down or I'd be 'too scared.' I don't even believe that there is a beastie or anything! I just think that they're crackers. Jack needs to relax and not be so windy. Well, at least Simon would understand how I feel about Jack and that he can be an annoying boy. Just because he's a choir boy and that he can let out a Bravado dosn't mean anything. I mean he isn't a prefect. I hope that Ralph and the hunters come back soon and I really hope that they're worng about the beastie because if there was a beastie, then I don't know what would happen next.
